Overview

Are you a recent graduate or have some initial work experience and eager to gain experience in a high-growth tech startup? We’d love to hear from you!

Paddle is on the lookout for Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our rapidly growing Sales team by London Bridge to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans. It’s an exciting time for you to join the UK’s fastest-growing software startup: our revenue has tripled over the past three years and we’ve just been named a Future Fifty company as well as the UK’s #1 fastest-growing software startup.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology & software. You understand what Paddle offers, and what issues we solve for our customers. You’re enthusiastic and ambitious, with a desire to learn the outbound sales process from start to finish. In time, you’ll graduate from the SDR role into an Account Executive position at Paddle.

Note: This is an entry-level role, for which we offer a salary package of £25,000 base + 20% bonus measured and paid out quarterly as well as stock options in Paddle.

What you’ll do

You will provide our Sales team with a constant and diverse range of leads who meet our existing ideal customer profiles (ICPs). You’ll also be working alongside the team to identify new markets for Paddle.

In your time as SDR you’ll develop a full and comprehensive understanding of the sales process:

  1. How to source potential clients for Paddle – identifying leads, what are the red flags, and what are the attributes we look for in an “ideal customer”
  2. Market mapping and helping to identify new markets
  3. Analysing websites and their checkout processes in order to establish their market fit

Initially you’ll be tasked with ensuring there are enough qualified leads at the top of our sales funnel while developing a strong understand of the full sales cycle.

We’d love to hear from you if

  • You have a keen interest in tech, startups and software.
  • You feel confident working with both macOS & Windows platforms.
  • You have a keen desire to grow into a Sales role at a fast-paced tech startup.

It’d be great if

  • You have a general understanding of how websites are built.
  • You have a basic understanding of eCommerce providers such as PayPal, Stripe, Braintree and Cleverbridge.

Why you’ll love working at Paddle

We are a diverse team of 100 people (quickly on our way to 180+) based near London Bridge. We care deeply about enabling a great culture which is inclusive no matter your background. We celebrate our diverse group of talented employees and we pride ourselves on our transparent, collaborative, friendly and respectful culture.

We offer a full slate of (constantly evolving) benefits, including competitive salaries, stock options, pension plans, flexible working, generous holidays and parental leaves. We host regular company get-togethers and quarterly socials. We have weekly catered lunches and of course, fully stocked fridges and cold brew on tap. We value learning and will help you with your personal development where we can – from constant exposure to new challenges to regular internal and external training.
