Firstly – our audience are sales leaders. We spend our days reading their tweets and blogs listening to podcasts and webinars on best practices and then introducing the benefits of Refract to them. They are therefore pretty unforgiving of shitty, lazy outreach and crappy demos but they love our highly researched, personalised approaches, value adding discovery and kick ass demos. They understand we too are sales professionals – almost every day our prospects praise our approach, often sharing it with their own teams as an example.
Secondly Refract is all about sales coaching, and obviously we drink our own champagne, using the platform to help onboard, coach and develop our skills and success.
Finally, you will have the benefit of working with a sales team that really get SaaS sales, but committed to ongoing development and improvement as a team as well as individuals.
As part of our BDM team, you’ll be comfortable making things happen from your own prospecting calls, emails, and social selling – as all our team are, as well as being supported by an SDR team and marketing generated leads. You’ll be conducting awesome discovery calls to understand business needs and fit and delivering personalised demos to sales leaders – and you know they’ll be judging!
First and foremost, you will be passionate and proud of your career in sales, with a desire to always be learning and developing, to become one of the worlds 7% of elite sales people. Naturally, you’ll be highly coachable, driven and be somewhere where your opportunity is limited only by talent.

Based at ‘The Core’ in the Centre of Newcastle (with the option to be remote), we’re building a world-class SaaS business, solving a key challenge for sales leaders – improving sales conversations outcomes and revenue through coaching, with limited time.
Refract.ai analyses sales conversations, profiling coachable moments and shining a light on what top performers do differently, whilst revealing what aligns with successful outcomes for their business.
Our sales conversation intelligence platform uses A.I. to do the heavy lifting for sales coaching, with organizations such as VMWare, Forrester, Stryker, Time Out and a host of published sales gurus, amongst those accelerating performance using Refract.
It’s been a good start but this is just the very beginning. We’ve done this before, building one of the region’s biggest SaaS businesses and learning lessons along the way (lots, we have the scars to prove it!). Our product is frigging awesome and getting better every week and our market opportunity is massive - any inside sales or customer service team globally with over 50% of our clients currently US based.
