Collecting and processing leads from events is broken. Akkroo is the Event Lead Capture solution that connects events, sales and marketing for businesses all over the world.
Launched in 2013, we’ve spent the last 4 years developing the Akkroo platform to achieve product market fit, building our customer base and laying the foundations for global success. As a Software-as-a-Service business, we are now on the exciting journey to £10M Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and beyond. We are a growing team of 30 people based in awesome new offices in Brixton, London, with a small number of remote workers in the US and UK.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a bright, creative individual to join our growing marketing team as we commence the next stage of our startup journey.
From the website and blog, to video scripts, product copy and everything in-between, you will have the opportunity to get involved with all manner of content related tasks.
As Lead Content Marketer, you’ll be instrumental in helping broadcast our message to the world, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys challenges and finding great ways to express a message.
Need to have
You will at least two years of experience writing for a B2Baudience, ideally within the SaaS, Events or tech space. An understanding of Buying Personas and the role of content in the marketing and sales cycle is essential.
Outstanding written skills
You will understand how to produce outstanding written content that engages Akkroo’s primary buying personas. The ability to develop and interpret project goals into valuable content is a must. We want to see your writing, the more examples you can share the better.
An eye for detail & a fresh perspective
The internet is full of terrible generic listicles and re-hashed blogs. The Akkroo content creator will rise above the noise, creating high value, useful content. Research, editing and quality checking skills are a must.
A roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-stuck-in attitude
The Content Marketer will operate within the Marketing department but will work closely with other teams to deliver copy as required. As a start up on a growth mission not everything operates on a 9-5 basis. We are looking for someone that will embrace the journey, going the extra mile where required.
Experience with social media
It’s an important responsibility, the front-line of business communications, so we’d like to hear about your experience writing for, scheduling and managing social media campaigns.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Marketing lifecycle stages (e.g. MQL, SQL)
- Experience using Hubspot, or ideally Hubspot inbound certified

Where we work
You’ll be joining us in our brand new London HQ; a converted 19th century warehouse located in Brixton — just a couple of minutes walk from Brixton underground (Victoria line) and mainline stations.
Launched in 2013, Akkroo is at the forefront of a new, emerging SaaS category that bridges the gap between live events and an organisation’s Marketing Automation and CRM solutions.
We’ve spent the last 3 years developing the platform to achieve product market fit, building our customer base and laying the foundations for global success. After raising a pre-Series A round in 2016 and reaching £1M ARR, we are ready to scale and are now on the journey to £10M ARR and beyond.
